Frohe Ostern

Hi,

today I would like to show you the card that I created for the following challenges:

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 212

Addicted to Stamps and More! Challenge #88 - Holiday

and

Card Makin' Mamas 83 - Photo Inspiration

I got inspired by the colors in the photo. The little white bunny, the eggs and the flowers just asked for an easter or at least spring card.

Since this is one of my Easter cards, the sentiment "Frohe Ostern" means Happy Easter.
I bought this cute stamp at the end of last year and I am delighted that now is the time to finally use it.

Here is my list of supplies:
white cardstock
Prima Marketing - Paper Flowers
brad

I hope you like the card as much as I do. Almost too cute to give it away.

Thanks for visiting.

Yours,
Tanja

Kiss me

Hi guys,

I just found out that I won my third Honorable Gnome over at the Lawnscaping Challenge Blog. Yeah! I'm so happy that they like my cards.

Here is another one. I created it for the BE Inspired Challenge #50 - congrats on Challenge #50 - and took a more indirect aproach this time - no bike. Instead, I went for the colors and the tiny flowers and put the lovely frog from the Enchanted set in the center. The circle-burst-background has been inspired by a card that I saw on Christine's blog a while ago. You should go and check out her awesome creations.

Here is my list of supplies:
The Alley Way Stamps - Enchanted
Basic Grey - Fresh Cut 6x6 Paper Pad
Wendy Vecchi - White Embossing Paste
Distress Paint (Evergreen Bough)
Adirondack Embossing Powder - Wild Plum
Prima Marketinng - Crackle Stencil

And  since I used a fairy tale image, I am also linking this card up to the Daring Cardmakers Fairy Tales Challenge.

Yours,
Tanja

Hello

Hi,

this is my second card for today. I created it for the AEI♥U Challenge #2: Embellishments.

I used a cute little self-made tissue wrap envelope with an embossed sentiment, faux stitching, multi-color embossed dots and sequins as my embellishments for this card. To give the envelope some color I used my Shadow Inks as you normally would use your Distress Inks: I put some on my craft sheet, added a bit of water and put the envelope in - subtle but a perfect match to the colors that I already used.

Here is the list of supplies:
Avery Elle - Modern Leaves
Technique Tuesday - In Stitches
Hero Arts Shadow Ink (Tide Pool, Soft Lilac, Bubble Gum, Cornflower)
Zing Embossing Powder - Rose, Lavender, Frost, White
Ranger Embossing Powder - Turquoise
Tim Holtz - Tissue Wrap Terminology
white cardstock
sequins

See you soon.

Yours,
Tanja

Embrace today

Good morning,

today I would like to show yout the card which I created for the Paper Smooches SPARKS Picture Perfect Challenge.

When I first saw the inspirational photo, I thought "twine and flower pots" and that is why I created a card with a flower pot (it is actually a cup from the Hot Concoctions set) and put a twine-flower in it. It was quite messy to layer the twine as a flower and its leaves - I had really gluey fingers afterwards. On the little banner-shape I used an emboss-resist also using a stamp from the Hot Concoctions set.

Here is my list of supplies:
Paper Smooches - Hot Concoctions
Paper Smooches - Captured Moments
Distress Ink (Bundled Sage, Dried Marigold)
green twine
kraft cardstock
Fancy Pants - Wonderful Day 6x6 Paper Pad
Doodlebug Design Inc. - Doodle Twine Bright Assortment
Doodlebug Design Inc. - Bumblebee Sprinkles

See you later.

Yours,
Tanja
