Wish

Hi there,

it's Day 2 of the STAMPlorations 3rd Birthday Blog Hop:

  • stamp the little girl and the big balloon from the STAMPlorations Kathryn's Big Wishes stamp set with Versafine (Smokey Gray) onto a stitched watercolor paper panel
  • mask off the girl's hand and add the balloon string
  • stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright Super Fine embossing powder
  • color the images with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens, Distess Markers and a waterbrush
  • create a background using Distress-Re-Inkers (Weathered Wood, Tumbled Glass)
  • draw in a pattern with the help of the ARTplorations Weaving stencil and a pencil
  • color in all the rectangles with less diluted Distress Re-Inker (Tumbled Glass), let it dry and erase the pencil marks
  • add a strip of grey carstock and purple glitter cardstock to the left side of the panel before adhering it to a white cardbase

Happy Birthday Unicorn

Hi there,

today, I would like to show you this fun card that I created using the brand new Gerda Steiner Designs Unicorns stamp set:

  • color one of the fabulous unicorns and the little cupcake from the Gerda Steiner Designs Unicorn stamp set with Daniel Smith Watercolors, Distress Markers, ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and Winsor & Newton Iridescent Medium
  • cut out one of the Paper Smooches Polka Dot Borders from a grey cardpanel and put a piece of pink glitter cardstock behind the cut out dots
  • stamp the sentiment from the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Hoppy stamp set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Pink Sorbet embossing powder
  • use Delta Markers to create a bit of ground for the unicorn to stand on and adhere it with foam adhesive
  • add some dots with Stickles (Glisten) and round the top right corner with a 1'' corner rounder

Autumn Cutie

  • create a background on Lanavanguard paper using Alcohol Inks (Watermelon, Botanical, Willow, Hazelnut) and Blending Solution
  • stamp the sentiment from Karten-Kunst Capri Jahreszeiten with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • add a strip of brown foiled cardstock to the left side of the panel before adhering it to a white cardbase

Welcome little One

Hi there,

why don't you join us for our New Baby Challenge over at Moving along with the Times?

  • stamp the eggshell and the little bird from the Mama Elephant Just Hatched stamp set onto a stitched panel of white cardstock using Memento (Tuxedo Black) and the Masking Technique
  • color the image and add in the grass with Delta and Touch Twin Brush Markers
  • stamp the  first part of the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black) directly to the panel and the second part onto a strip of light blue cardstock cut into a banner-shape
  • add a strip of the same cardstock to the left side of the card before adhering the panel to a white cardbase

Stamp Connection #14

Hi there,

connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Cornelia from Stempel Spass and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our 14th transatlantic get-together!

Our requirement for this meet-up was:
"interactive element"




  • stamp the elements from the Art Impressions Mini Raccoon Spinner Set with Memento (Tuxedo Black) and cut them out with the matching dies also included in the set
  • color the image with Delta and Touch Twin Brush Markers
  • add highlights with a white gel pen and a little sparkle to the cupcake frosting with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
  • cut out two circles with the help of the Avery Elle Double Pierced Circles from a stitched patterened paper panel from the Avery Elle Everyday Collection and from a white cardbase
  • finish the spinner card with the help of thin silver thread and liquid glue
  • stamp the sentiment from Uniko Simply Said with Versafine (Onyx Black)

Stardust on Fairy Wings

Hi there,

we are starting a new Challenge over at the A Day for Daisies Blog and we would like to see some glitter on your project:

  • color the A Day for Daisies Bitsy Bug Lily with Delta and Touch Twin Brush Markers
  • cover the wings with Quickie Glue and sprinkle Distress Glitter (Clear Rock Candy) on top
  • create a background on a stitched watercolor paper panel with Peerless Watercolors
  • stamp the sentiment from the Lili of the Valley Fairy Sentiments set with Versafine (Onyx Black) 
  • add a strip of purple foiled cardstock to the left of the card and three DIY enamel dots as final embellishments

Special Delivery

Hi there,

we are starting a Holiday Challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More today:


  • stamp the present and the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Joyful stamp set onto a stitched watercolor panel with Versafine (Vintage Sepia)
  • mask off the image and add elements from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge stamp set over it with the same ink
  • color the image with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens, Distress Markers and a waterbrush
  • ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Vintage Photo)
  • color a strip of white glitter cardstock with a matching alcohol marker and add it to the left side of the card before adhering the panel to a white cardbase

Bathtime Fun

Hi there,

I created this Bathtime Fun Scrapbook Page for the STAMPlorations Stencil Sunday:

  • start with a 12'' by 12'' piece of white cardstock
  • draw down a scribbly circle with a pencil
  • create a background with Prima Marketing Color Bloom Spray (Summer Sky, Cobalt, Soft Teal)
  • stamp the circle from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge stamp set several times with Distress Ink (Broken China, Salty Ocean)
  • ink up the edges of the whole page with Distress Ink (Broken China) as well
  • apply Prima Marketing Modeling Paste through the ARTplorations Anchors Away stencil
  • create a paper cluster with patterned paper from the Pebbles Special Delivery Boy 6x6 paper pad
  • punch out some stars from the same patterned paper
  • stamp a border with stamps from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Elements and STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge sets and Distress Ink (Hickory Smoke)
  • add some more texture by stamping the newsprint from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge stamp set with Distress Ink (Hickory Smoke)
  • adhere the paper cluster using foam adhesive and add some black splatters with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors
  • add wood veneer stars to the punched out paper stars and little bows made from silver twine
  • stamp the title using the STAMPlorations Sketchy Alphabet and Distress Ink (Broken China)

Hi there,

we are starting a new Color Challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations. This will be my last creation for this fabulous challenge. The rest of the team will meet you after the summer break on July 3rd. It was wonderful creating with you - thanks!


  • color the sweet little bee from the Pickled Potpourri Designs Bee Happy set with Delta and Touch Twin Brush Markers
  • cut out a Clearly Besotted Stamps Rounded Tag around the image and another one from patterned paper from the Avery Elle Everyday Collection
  • create a striped background on a white cardbase using a flat waternrush and Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors
  • round all four corners of the cardbase with a 1'' corner rounder
  • cut out two leaves with the help of the Memory Box Tender Leaves dies from patterned paper from the same paper pad - color their edges with a green Touch Twin Brush Marker
  • thread a piece of May Arts Natural Twine through the leaves and the holes of the tags
