I would like to show you this colorful project using the Gerda Steiner Designs signature Hippo:
- stamp the Gerda Steiner Designs Hippo with Butterfly with Versafine Onyx Black onto some Stonehenge paper
- color the image with Prismacolor Pencils and Zest-it
- add highlights to the eyes and the little heart on his shirt with a white gel pen
- stamp the Carta Bella Petite Dots with Versamark onto a piece of turquoise cardstock for a tone-on-tone look
- mount all the layers onto a white cardbase
- stamp the sentiment from the Mama Elephant Labeled Messages set with Versafine Onyx Black and use foam tape to adhere the sentiment strip in the top right corner

- cut out a stitched rectangle from white cardstock and cut out the Karten-Kunst Zum Geburtstag from this panel
- stamp a little space scene using the Gerda Steiner Designs Alien Invasion set, the Karten-Kunst Daisy mit Geschenk set and Versafine (Onyx Black)
- color the images with Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils and Zest-it
- layer a piece of glitter paper behind the sentiment before adhering the panel to a white cardbase

Cat with Flower Balloon
Hi there,
I would like to show you this watercolor cat and flower card that I created for the new Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge:
I would like to show you this watercolor cat and flower card that I created for the new Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge:
- stamp the cat from the My Favorite Things Cool Cat set with Versafine (Smokey Gray) onto a piece of watercolor paper
- color the image with Daniel Smith and Schmincke Horadam watercolors and a watercolor brush
- cut the image out and set it aside
- cut out a stitched panel from watercolor paper and stamp the balloon from the WPlus9 Party Animal set with Versafine (Smokey Gray)
- mask the outside of the balloon and stamp a flower arrangement from the Simon Says Stamp Ranunculus set with Versamark and heat-emboss the flowers with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
- color the flowers and the background with Daniel Smith and Schmincke Horadam watercolors and a watercolor brush - add some turquoise splatters as a finishing touch
- cut out a slightly larger stitched panel from turquoise cardstock and layer it behind the watercolor panel before adhering all the layers to a white cardbase

today, I would like to show you this sweet little Cat Card over on the Gerda Steiner Designs Blog:
- color the kitten from the Gerda Steiner Designs Kitten in Flowerpot image which is available as part of the Gerda Steiner Designs Spring Digital Stamp Bundle with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens, Distress Markers and a damp watercolor brush
- use one of the My Favorite Things Polaroids dies to create two little frames from patterned paper from the Pebbles Front Porch 6x6 paper pad
- add the sentiment cut with the help of a die from the Lawn Fawn Magic Color Slider set from kraft cardstock
- in order to add more interest to the white cardbase, adhere two strips of patterned paper cut into a wave shape using the My Favorite Things Stitched Snow Drifts die set onto the left side of the cardbase

Stamp Connection #28
Hi there,
connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Cornelia from Stempel Spass and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our 28th transatlantic get-together!
Our requirement for this meet-up was:

- stamp the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Many Mini Messages set with Versamark onto a strip of vellum and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
- add a strip of burlap underneath and adhere the sentiment strip to the main panel
- mount the panel onto a scalloped rectangle created using the My Favorite Things Blueprints 27 set and patterned paper from the Kaisercraft Island Escpape paper pad

today, I would like to show you this Clean and Simple Flower Card that I created for our new Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge:
today, I would like to show you this Clean and Simple Flower Card that I created for our new Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge:
- stamp a flower bouquet onto a stitched panel of Bristol Smooth Cardstock using the Mama Elephant Freestyle Florals and Versafine (Smokey Gray)
- color the image with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a damp watercolor brush
- cut out the CUTplorations thanks from smooth white cardstock and create a ombre look using alcohol markers
- add some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter on top of the sentiment
- cut out another stitched panel from smooth white cardstock and adhere all the layers to a white cardbase

- color the Gerda Steiner Designs Hello Friend Turtle with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens, Distress Markers and a damp watercolor brush
- use the My Favorite Things Tag Builder Blueprints 6 die set to cut out a shaker tag - you need a base, a foam layer, a frame and an acetate piece ... the patterned paper is from the Doodlebug Design Fun in the Sun 6x6 paper pad
- add some Doodlebug Design Sequins before closing the shaker element with double-sided adhesive
- stamp the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Many Mini Messages with Versafine (Onyx Black) onto a sentiment strip cut with a die from the My Favorite Things Tag Builder Blueprints 5 set and add a little heart from the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Hoppy stamp set
- as a final step thread three strings of twine through the hole of the tag

Happy Heart ATC
Hi there,
we are starting a new Mixed Media Challenge on the Happy Little Stampers Blog and this time we would like to see some Tissue Paper on your project:
we are starting a new Mixed Media Challenge on the Happy Little Stampers Blog and this time we would like to see some Tissue Paper on your project:
- I created some new ATC backgrounds and I explain the process in this previous post
- afterwards I took some leftover tissue paper from this project and glued it to the ATC using matte medium - I wanted the texture to be extra wrinkled for this reason I crumpled it up first
- stamp the newsprint from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
- use black and white acrylic paint to add some circular marks and some splatters
- add some color to the edges using a Distress Crayon (Black Soot)
- stamp the image from the Paper Artsy EKD03 set with Memento (Tuxedo Black) and color it with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers
- add some highlights and dots with a white gel pen
- adhere the shape to the ATC and add the sentiment from the Tim Holtz Big Chat sticker set
