Ahoi Slimline Card

Hi there,

I created this maritime slimline card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out a panel from watercolor paper
• apply Distress Ink (Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon) to a piece of acetate and mist it with water, press the acetate onto the watercolor paper until you like the resulting background
• cut out two round Karten Kunst Small Frames from smooth white cardstock and from turquoise cardstock
• stamp the ship and the lifesaver from the Karten-Kunst Mini Frames At the Sea with Lawn Lawn Jet Black and color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• cut out the Karten-Kunst - Riesiges Ahoi from vellum and turquoise cardstock
• adhere the elements to the background panel
• add a strip of turquoise cardstock to the top and bottom of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Ahoi Lighthouse Tag

Hi there,

I created this maritime tag for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out a Karten-Kunst Tag from smooth white cardstock
• stamp the lighthouse from the Karten-Kunst Mini Frames at the Sea set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black and color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• ink up the bottom of the tag with Distress Oxide Ink Peacock Feathers
• cut out the Karten-Kunst Mini Ship's Wheel several times from grey cardstock
• stamp the "Ahoi" from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 3 set with Versamark onto a strip of grey cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag

• stamp some hearts from the Karten-Kunst Kränze & Kreise set with Distress Oxide Ink Peacock Feathers

• stamp some images from the Karten-Kunst Mini Frames Garden set and the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 3 set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• add strips of kraft cardstock and of patterned paper from the Memory Box Madras Plaid Blue and Violet 6x6 paper pad to the top and bottom of the panel

• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 3 set with Versamark onto a strip of turquoise cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• thread three strands of twine through the hole of the tag
