February Birthday

Hi there,

I created this cute Birthday Tag using the Karten-Kunst Kalender Monate die set:

• cut out one of the Karten-Kunst Tags with Stitches from Confetti White cardstock
• cut out another tag from pink cardstock
• use the hearts to create some openings in the white tag
• layer the white and the pink tag on top of each other
• stamp some dots with pink ink and some hearts with black ink using the Karten-Kunst Kränze & Kreise set
• cut out the February with the help of the Karten-Kunst Kalender-Monate die set from dark pink cardstock
• stamp the second part of the sentiment with Versamark onto a strip of black cardstock using the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine set and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• thread a strand of twine through the hole of the tag

I created this adorable card using the Magengo Designs I Woof you set:

• stamp one of the little dogs and the ball from the Magengo Designs I Woof you set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• create a background using the fence from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Flower Plushies set and stamp it with that same black ink
• add color to the background using Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• add clouds with the help of the My Favorite Things Mini Cloud stencil and Distress Ink Tumbled Glass
• stamp the sentiment from the Magengo Designs I Woof you set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• add little hearts to the fence and glitter with Stickles Crystal
• color the dog and the ball with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• adhere these two elements using double-sided foam adhesive
• add patterned paper behind the panel
• embellish the kraft cardbase with the My Favorite Things Whimsical Woodgrain, Versamark and WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

• cut out a CUTplorations Tag #1 from watercolor paper
• stamp one of the boys and the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Little Love Birthday Wishes set with Versafine Onyx Black
• color the image with Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer pencils and a waterbrush
• thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag

I used the Gerda Steiner Designs You Rock stamp set to create this Banner Card:

• stamp the big rock, the sentiment from the Gerda Steiner Designs You Rock set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos
• cut out a banner shape around the image
• cut out another banner from patterned paper
• cover a cardbase with patterned paper before adhering the banner slightly offset

• create a background using Alcohol Inks
• add some foil to the sticky parts
• cut out the Karten-Kunst Ash Leaf from white cardstock
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 3 set with Versamark onto a strip of black cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag

• color the images and the background with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils
• add highlights with a white gel pen
• ink up the bottom edge with Distress Ink Tumbled Glass and the bottom edge with Distress Ink Peeled Paint
• stamp the sentiment from the Magengo Designs You are Purrfect set with Distress Oxide Ink Hickory Smoke
• add a strip of grass cardstock and of patterned paper to the top and bottom of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

• stamp one of the penguins from the Gerda Steiner Designs Valentine Penguins set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• ink up the edges of the tag with Distress Ink peacock feathers
• thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag

• stamp some snowflakes from the Karten-Kunst Zauberhafte Schneeflocken with Versafine Clair Nocturne onto a piece of smooth white cardstock
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 2 set with that same black ink
• add some splatters with watered-down Hero Arts Ink Dauber Neon Pink and strips of patterned paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

• color the image with Derwent Inktense pencils and a waterbrush
• apply Distress Ink Hickory Smoke through the Clearly Besotted Stamps Build it stencil
• mask off a narrow strip and add color with Distress Ink Ground Espresso
• ink up the rest of the floor with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs
• for more texture stamp woodgrain pattern from the Tim Holtz Lumberjack stamp set with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs into the floor area
• add Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the glasses of the bunny
• stamp the sentiment from the Mama Elephant School Rules set with Versamark onto the blackboard and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• add some chalk for a chalkboard effect
• cut out some My Favorite Things Stitched Square Scallop Frames from kraft cardstock and patterned paper and add it onto the colored panel
• adhere patterned paper to the cardbase and add a banner cut from patterned paper underneath the square panel before adhering it to a cardbase

today I am starting a new series on my blog - every other Wednesday I will feature some amazing STAMPlorations products on my Blog and the series will be called "Wednesday - STAMPday". As a first project I created this succulent card with a stenciled cardbase:

• stamp the three plants from the STAMPlorations Succulently stamp set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• ink up the background with Distress Ink (Salvaged Patina, Gathered Twigs)
• add some splatters with that same colors
• cut out the CUTplorations awesome from kraft cardstock and ink up the bottom half with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs
• stamp the "you're" from the Lawn Fawn Critters from the Past set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• apply Distress Ink Salvaged Patina through the ARTplorations Delicate Links stencil directly to the cardbase
