One Background - Two Cards Part 1

Hi there,

I created this watercolor Easter Card for Anjas Basteltraum. Be sure to check in again next week to see another focal image on the second half of that egg background:

• stamp some eggs from the Anjas Basteltraum Osternest set with Distress Ink Antique Linen onto a piece of Arches cold pressed watercolor paper
• color the eggs with Schmincke Horadam watercolors
• cut the background in half
• tear a strip of vellum
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Oster Sprüche set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Platinum Super Fine embossing powder
• stamp the medium twig from the Anjas Basteltraum Osternest set with Distress Ink Antique Linen, cut it out and color it with Schmincke Horadam watercolors
• use double-sided foam adhesive to adhere the twig
• mount the background panel onto a grass cardstock cardbase

I created this elegant Easter Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• create a background on a panel of white cardstock by stamping the Karten-Kunst Borders with grey pigment ink
• cut out the Karten-Kunst Elegant Script Frohe Ostern from light grey and pearlescent cardstock 
• layer the panel onto a light grey background and ink up the edges with Distress Ink Black Soot
• add some Pinkfresh Studio Glitter Drops Champagne as final embellishments

I created this Watercolor Flower Card for Anjas Basteltraum:

• stamp two bouquets from the Anjas Basteltraum Blumengrüße set with Distress Ink Antique Linen onto a piece of Arches cold pressed watercolor paper
• color the image with Schmincke Horadam watercolors
• add some splatters with blue, pink and white watercolors
• cut out the Memory Box Big Hugs Sugar Script from watercolor paper and add shading with watercolors
• use vellum for the background layer of the sentiment
• add some accents to the sentiment with WOW! Perissa embossing powder#
• add a strip of Distress Cardstock Dusty Concord to the left and right of the watercolor panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Happy Easter Days

I created this fun Tag Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out a Karten-Kunst Stitched Rectangle DIN A6 from cotton-rag paper
• cut out the flower tags from the Karten-Kunst Symbolisch gemeint Ostern die set from woodgrain paper and colored cardstock
• ink up the edges of the tags with Distress Ink Walnut Stain
• thread green twine through the holes of the tags
• assemble the tags using double-sided foam adhesive
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine set with Versamark onto a strip of grass cardstock and heat-emboss it with Ranger Wild Plum embossing powder
• cut out a banner around the sentiment using one of the Karten-Kunst Mini Textrahmen Wimpel
• adhere the panel to a pink cardbase

I created this rainbow watercolor flower card using the new Anjas Basteltraum Blumengrüße stamp set:

• cut out one of the ModaScrap Bubble Circles from watercolor paper
• stamp one of the images from the Anjas Basteltraum Blumengrüße set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• add a rainbow of watercolors and black and white splatters
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Sprüche Blumengruß with Versamark onto a fishtail banner cut from Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• cover a cardbase with patterned paper and ink up the edges with Distress Ink Frayed Burlap
• add some sequins and Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard as final embellishments

here is another Easter Card that I created with the Karten-Kunst Das rockt Frohe Ostern die set:

• create a striped panel using stripes of colored and kraft cardstock
• add some splatters with watered-down white gouache
• cut out the Karten-Kunst Das rockt Frohe Ostern from vellum and Neenah Desert Storm Kraft cardstock
• use an Embossing Dauber to add embossing ink to the bottom part of the letters and heat-emboss them with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• cut out some eggs using one of the dies from the Karten-Kunst Symbolisch gemeint Ostern and add texture using the Karten-Kunst Splatters Create stamp set and Lawn Fawn River Rock
• adhere the panel to a kraft cardbase

• ink up the edges of the label and the background panel with Distress Ink Tea Dye
