Merry Christmas Town

Hi there,

this week we are having a Theme Challenge over at the 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown:

• stamp the cityscape from Whimsy Stamps Christmas Scene Builder with Versafine (Onyx Black) on a piece of watercolor paper
• create a background using Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphiere, Black Soot)
• stamp the Santa sleigh from the same stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black)
• spritz the card panel with pearlized water
• apply pearl white embossing paste throught the Memory Box Tiny Snowflakes Stencil
• stamp the sentiment from Clearly Besotted Many Mini Messages with Delicata (Shimmery Silver)
• add burlap to a cardbase and adhere the card panel on top of that

Baby Bear Tag Trio

Hi there,

this is my second creation for this month's Waltzingmouse Stamps Pajama Party:

In the following I will tell you how I made each of those cute little tags:

• stamp the cute little bear from Waltzingmouse Stamps Half Pint Heroes Additions with Memento (Tuxedo Black) on Perfect Colouring Paper and color the image with Delta Markers
• add Glossy Accents to the tiny heart
• cut out three large and three tiny tags from white cardstock
• stamp the reverse polka dot background from Waltzingmouse Stamps Gingham & Co. with Brilliance (Pearlescent Lavender, Pearlescent Sky Blue or Pearlescent Orchid) onto the large tag
• stamp the sentiment from Waltzingmouse Stamps Earth Angel and Waltzingmouse Stamps Hello Happy Thanks with the same ink colors
• stamp the rope from Waltzingmouse Stamps Earth Angel with Versafine (Smokey Gray) for the little bear to sit on
• thread Prima Marketing Jute Trim Wheat through the holes of the tags

• stamp the big star from Waltzingmouse Stamps Halftone Backgrounds on a circle of white cardstock with Versamark and heat-emboss with Zing! Metallic Teal embossing powder
• stamp the car from Waltzingmouse Stamps Half Pint Heroes and the face from Waltzingmouse Stamps Half Pint Heroes Additions with Memento (Tuxedo Black) on Perfect Colouring Paper and colour the images with Delta Markers; add highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from Waltzingmouse Stamps Half Pint Heroes with Colorbox Teal Pigment Ink on a strip of white cardstock and trim it to size using Pinking Scissors

Hi there,

today, I would like to show you the card that I created with the From the Heart Stamp of the Month:

• color From the Heart Stamps Apple Blossom Birds with Delta Markers
• create the layers with patterned paper from the Melissa Frances C'est la Vie 6x6 paper pad
• ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Milled Lavender, Iced Spruce)
• cut a banner from the same patterned paper and a slightly larger one from burlap - use pinking scissors on the right edge
• sew a heart-shaped button onto the banners using Prima Marketing Jute Trim Wheat
• stamp the sentiment from Clearly Besotted Stamps Sweet Little Sentiments with My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink Razzle Berry
