Let it Snow Snowman

Hi there,

it is time for a new creation over on the A Day for Daisies Blog:

• color the adorable A Day for Daisies Penguin Snowman with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a damp brush
• add silver snowflakes with Dina Wakley Heavy Body Acrylic Paint (Sterling)
• cut out a stitched circle and another one from acetate
• cut out three stitched circle frames - one from patterned paper from the Avery Elle The Brights Collection 6x6 paper pad and two from white foam 
• add little stars, shaved ice and crystal glitter to the shaker element before closing it
• stamp the sentiment and some snowflakes from the Lawn Fawn Let it snow stamp set with Versamark on a strip of black cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

Hi there,

Skipping Stones Design is joining the Winter Holiday Coffee Lover's Blog Hop:

• cut out a stitched panel from watercolor paper using the Waltzingmouse Stamps Stitched Rectangles 
• stamp the snowflake from the Skipping Stones Design Christmas Labels stamp set several times with Versamark and heat-emboss them with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• create a background using Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon)
• spritz the background with Pearlized Water for more texture
• cut out the coffe cup with the help of the My Favorite Things Coffee Cup die from watercolor paper
• stamp the rose from the Skipping Stones Design Victorian Summer stamp set with Versamark and heat embosss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• color the band with Distress Ink (Shaded Lilac, Dusty Condord) and the rest of the cup with Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon)
• stamp the sentiment from Skipping Stones Design Holiday Cats with Versafine (Deep Lagoon)
• mat the main panel on a piece of patterned paper cut from the BoBunny Altitude 6x6 paper pad with the Waltzingmouse Stamps Scalloped Stitched Rectangles

• cut out a stitched panel from watercolor paper using one of the WPlus9 Love Mom Layers dies
• draw some feathers with a black PITT Artist Pen with the help of the ARTplorations Feathers and Arrows Large stencil
• sponge Distress Ink (Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed) through the same stencil and spritz it generously with water - let dry thoroughly
• stamp the number blocks and the distressed lines from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Elements stamp set with Archival Ink (Emerald)
• ink up the edges with the same Distress Ink colors
• stamp the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Bold Sentiments: Create stamp set with VersaMagic (Midnight Black)
• add some black ink splatters with Dylusions Ink Spray (Black Marble)

A Winter Birthday

• color the Bugaboo Stamps Birthday Penguin Tall Cake with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils and Zest-it
• add details with a white gel pen, a Pearl Maker and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter  
• stamp a background using the My Favorite Things Snowfall Background and Hero Arts Shadow Ink (Pastel Blue)
• stamp the sentiment from Waltzingmouse Stamps Little Deer with Hero Arts Shadow Ink (Pool)
• add a hill shape cut with the help of one of the Avery Elle Dotted Borders and cover it with Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter
