Happy Birthday Kim

Hi there,

here is my creation for the "Happy Birthday Kim Surprise Linky Party":

• stamp the cute little Hippo and the balloon from the Happy Little Stampers Birthday Friends stamp set with Memento (Tuxedo Black) and color the images with Delta, Touch Twin Markers and a white gel pen
• cut out a panel from watercolor paper using the Waltzingmouse Stamps Stitched Rectangles
• create a background using Distress Inks (Broken Chine, Peacock Feathers) and a piece of acetate
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Silver embossing powder
• connect the hippo's tail and the balloon with a piece of silver thread - add a tiny bow
• color a strip of white paper with Distress Ink (Peacock Fetahers) and add this strip and a strip of patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn Let's Polka 6x6 petite paper pack to the left side of the panel to fnish the card

Hi there,

today, I would like to show you this fun birthday card I created using the colors of our new challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations:

• stamp one of the cute little frogs and the fly from Clearly Besotted Stamps Jump for Joy with Memento (Tuxedo Black) and color the image with Delta, Touch Twin Markers and a white gel pen
• add Wink of Stella Clear and Silver Glitter to the wings of the fly
• create a background on watercolor paper using Distress Inks (Dried Marigold, Spiced Marmalade), a Mini Mister and a piece of acetate
• use the Paper Smooches Flourishes 2 for some texture behind the frog
• color a piece of watercolor paper wiht the same Distress Ink colors and cut out the happy from My Favorite Things Brushstroke Birthday
• cut the happy a second time from black cardstock and layer it behind the watercolor sentiment as a shadow
• stamp the second part of the sentiment from Clearly Besotted Stamps Many Mini Messages with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• add a strip of black cardstock and a green tissue fringe border cut with the help of the Memory Box Fringe Border to finish the card

Hi there,

Skipping Stones Design is sponsoring and of course joining the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and this is my creation:

• create a DIY Toner Paint by mixing black toner and Glazing Liquid
• add splatters of this toner paint to a piece of watercolor paper
• run the piece through the Mini Minc with gold foil
• cut out a Clearly Besotted Stamps Scalloped Tag from the foiled piece
• stamp the To-Go-Cup from the Skipping Stones Design Funny Coffee #1 stamp set directly onto the foiled tag using Versafine (Onyx Black)
• color the cup with Distress Markers (Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Vintage Photo, Hickory Smoke) and a waterbrush
• color a strip of watercolor paper with some of those colors and cut out "this" using the Paper Smooches Documented Dies
• cut out a heart with the help of the Paper Smooches Lovely Snowflake dies from red glitter cardstock and cover it with Glossy Accents for even more shine and dimension
• stamp the coffee stains from the same stamp set onto a confetti white cardbase with Distress Ink (Vintage Photo), add additional splatters with watered-down ink and ink up the edges with this color as well
• dye a piece of seam binding with Distress Ink (Vintage Photo, Broken China) and thread it through the hole of the tag
