I would like to show you this little Easter Ornament over at the Karten-Kunst Blog:

cut out two eggs from pink felt using the Taylored Expressions Egg Stacklets
cut out a grass border from light green felt using the Lawn Fawn Grassy Border die
cut out the Memory Box Peter Cottontail from beige felt and add his little tail with white felt
sew the ornament together with the help of Prima Marketing Jute Trim Wheat and a blanket stitch

it is time for the start of a new STAMPlorations Mixed Media Challenge on this Stencil Sunday at the STAMPlorations Blog:

cut out two tags using the Sizzix Tag Collection - one from sturdy white cardstock and one from patterned paper from the Farmhouse Fair Skies 6x6 patterned paper pad
apply Prima Marketing Modeling Paste through the ARTplorations Oh my Stars! stencil
tear a strip of paper and cut a doily using the CottageCutz Floral Doily from the same patterned paper pad
use the Paper Distresser on the paperstrip
ink up the edges of the tag, the doily and the paper strip with Distress Ink (Weathered Wood, Gathered Twigs)
add splatters with watered-down Distress Paint (Walnut Stain)
cut flowers from jeans and muslin with the help of one of the Sizzix Tattered Florals die and one of the Memory Box Fancy Blossoms
cut the Memory Box Massa Leaf Background twice from paper from the same patterned paper pad and ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Bundled Sage)
cut out the Memory Box Woodland Branch from wood veneer
adhere all the elements using the Bosch GluePen
add Stickles Dry Glitter (Stardust) to the flowers and Glossy Accents dots to the leaves
dye a piece of seam binding with Distress Ink (Weathered Wood) and thread it through the hole of the tag

Hi there,

we are starting a new Color Challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations:

stamp the chick using the Stampendous Spring Short Stack stamp set combined with the masking technique
color the image with Delta and Touch Twin Markers
add highlights with a white gel pen
cut out a frame from the image panel with the help of the My Favorite Things Stitched Square Scallop Frames
cut out three more frames using the same die
glue all the frames on top of each other and add a square of acetate before adhering the top colored frame
add clear glitter to the shaker element and close it with the colored panel mounted to a fitting backpanel
stamp the sentiment from the Lili of the Valley Handwritten Phrases with Brilliance (Pearlescent Sky Blue)
add some Little Things from Lucy's Cards Sequins (Sparkling Rainbow)
