Birthday Card Set

Hi there,

I have another card set for the special Blog Hop over at Skipping Stones Design to share with you:

  • stamp the cat from the Skipping Stones Design Sassy Cats stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black) onto a stitched watercolor paper panel
  • color the image with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a waterbrush
  • create a background with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors
  • cut out the first part of the sentiment with the help of the My Favorite Thing Pop-up Birthday and stamp the second part of the sentiment using the Skipping Stones Design Gray Hares stamp set and Versafine (Onyx Black)
  • add a strip of glitter paper behind the "Happy" and to the left side of the panel before adhering it to a white cardbase
  • stamp one of the bunnies from the Skipping Stones Design Gray Hares stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black) onto a stitched watercolor paper panel; mask it off and stamp the balloons from the same set directly in his hand
  • color the image with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens, Distress Markers and a waterbrush
  • add highlights with a white gel pen
  • create a background with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors
  • stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black)
  • add a strip of grey cardstock and a strip of patterned paper from the Avery Elle Brights Collection to the left side of the panel before adhering it to a white cardbase

Heartfelt Thanks

Hi there,

we are starting a new Challenge over at the A Day for Daisies Blog and we would like to see some Floral Paper on your projects:

  • color the sweet A Day for Daisies Summer Seal Sitting with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens, Distress Markers and a waterbrush
  • add Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the flowers
  • cut out a cork-frame using one of the My Favorite Things Precious Polaroids and whitewash it with a Distress Crayon and a wet brush
  • use patterned paper from the Maja Design Coffee in the Arbour 6x6 paper pad for the two bottom layers
  • stamp the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Fond Expressions 2 stamp set with Versafine (Smokey Gray)

Butterfly and Feather Card Set

Hi there,

we are having a very special Blog Hop over at Skipping Stones Design for the next couple of days and this is the card set I created for you:

  • stamp the butterfly from the Skipping Stones Design Victorian Summer stamp set with Versamark on a stitched panel cut from watercolor paper and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Silver embossing powder
  • stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black)
  • create a watercolor background using Winsor & Newton watercolors
  • add some droplets of Pearlized Water and a strip of grey cardstock to the left side of the panel
  • stamp the Clearly Besotted Stamps Diagonal Stripes onto a white cardbase with Versafine (Imperial Purple) before adhering the panel

  • stamp the feather from the Skipping Stones Design Victorian Summer stamp set with Versamark on a stitched panel cut from watercolor paper and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Super Fine embossing powder
  • stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black)
  • create a watercolor background using Winsor & Newton watercolors
  • add some droplets of Pearlized Water and a strip of grey cardstock to the left side of the panel
  • stamp the Clearly Besotted Stamps Diagonal Stripes onto a white cardbase with Versafine (Majestic Blue) before adhering the panel

A Lift

Hi there,

here is my first project for our special Blog Hop over at Skipping Stones Design:

  • stamp the bra from the Skipping Stones Design Funderwear stamp set with Memento (Tuxedo Black) and color the mage with Delta and Touch Twin Brush Markers
  • add the little white dots with the Pico Embellisher (Wedding Dress)
  • create a background on a stitched watercolor paper panel using Distress Ink (Tattered Rose) and a piece of acetate
  • stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black)
  • add some little dots with the Deco Foil Adhesive Pen and add Deco Foil (Rose Gold) to them for extra shine
  • add a strip of golden glitter cardstock and a strip of patterned paper from the Avery Elle Sorbet Collection to the left side of the card before adhering it to a white cardbase
  • color a little Pretty Pink Posh flower sequin in a slightly darker turquoise with a Touch Twin Brush Marker and add it to the middle of the bra as a final embellishment
