Forever Love Tag

Hi there,

this is my first creation for the Love TAGplorations Hop over on the STAMPlorations Blog.

• cut out a tag from watercolor paper using the CUTplorations ATC Tag Builder 
• apply Prima Marketing Light Paste through the ARTplorations Zen Hearts stencil
• cut out the CUTplorations forever word die from dark grey and light grey cardstock and layer them on top of each other - add shimmer with the Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter Pen
• add color to the tag with Dylusions Ink Spray (Vibrant Turquoise, Calypso Teal) and dye a piece of seam binding with those same colors
• add black splatters with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor
• ink up the raised areas and the edges of the tag with Distress Ink (Black Soot)
• create the second part of the sentiment using a Dymo Label Maker

Flower Hair Clip

Hi there,

I would like to show you this Mixed Media Project for big and small flower fairies over on the Stamping-Fairies Blog:

• dye a piece of cheesecloth with Dylusions Sprays (Bubblegum Pink, Funky Fuchsia)
• roll the cheesecloth into a strip and apply a generous amount of Prima Marketing Sculpture Medium Clear
• create a rose and let it dry thoroughly
• cut out two leaves from green felt using the Tim Holtz Tiny Tattered Florals
• use the Bosch GluePen to adhere the little flower arrangement to a white hair clip

Hi there,

we are starting a new Challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More and I would like to show you this fun Christmas Tag:

• cut out a round tag using the My Favorite Things Tag Builder Blueprints 6 die set and patterned paper from the My Mind's Eye Sugar Plum 6x6 paper pad
• cut out "Joy" from watercolor paper - I created my own cutfile for the ScanNCut - and the antlers from the Miss Kate Cuttables Boy Reindeer
• color the sentiment and the antlers with Distress Markers and blend the colors with a damp watercolor brush to create an ombre effect
• cover both pieces with three layers of clear embossing powder
• age the tag a bit by inking up the edges with Distress Ink (Vintage Photo) and by randomly stamping the Prima Marketing Salvage District 3x4 Clear Stamp (Item: 584726) with Versafine (Vintage Sepia)
• thread natural twine through the hole of the tag

• color the sweet Gerda Steiner Designs Cat with Balloon image available as part of the January/February Digital Stamp Bundle with Distress Markes, ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a damp watercolor brush
• stamp the sentiment into the blue balloon using the Concord & 9th Perfectly Penned set and Versafine (Onyx Black)
• stamp the circle from the WPlus9 Doodle Buds set with Versamark onto a stitched panel cut from watercolor paper and heat-emboss them with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• add color to the panel using Jaxon Aquarelle watercolors

today, we a starting a new Mixed Media Challenge over at Happy Little Stampers:

 

• create a background on watercolor paper using Jaxon Aquarelle watercolors
• stamp some snowflakes from the Personal Impressions Let it Snow-flakes set with Color Box Chalk Ink (Blue Iris)
• use some stamps from the STAMPlorations Scribbly Splattery Grunge set and Archival Ink (Watering Can) to add more texture
• tear a strip of vellum, stamp the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Toboggan Together set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with Ranger Watering Can embossing powder
• stamp the penguin from the same Lawn Fawn set and the cap from the Mama Elephant Arctic Penguins set with Versafine (Onyx Black) and color the images with Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils and Zest-it
• add Liquid Applique to the pompon of the cap
