Joy

Hi there,

I created this Christmas Card using one of the wonderful Charlene van der Vorst stamp sets from Elizabeth Craft Designs:

  • cut out a stitched panel from watercolor cardstock using one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangles
  • stamp the mistletoe from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Oh the Joy of Christmas set with Ink on 3 Fadeout Ink  and color the image with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens
  • ink up the background with Distress Ink Pine Needles and a Blending Brush
  • add some splatters with Finetec Mica Watercolors Inca Gold
  • stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versafine Clair Nocturne - use first, second and even third generation stamping
  • cover the edges of the cardbase with Versamark and heat-emboss them with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich embossing powder

Have a christmasy day.

Ho Ho Ho

Hi there,

here is another creation using the new fabulous Karten-Kunst Lucky Alphabet die set:

  • use the leftover letters from this project to create something completely different
  • cut out a stitched panel from confetti white cardstock and add color with Distress Oxide Ink Chipped Sapphire and a Blending Brush
  • add some splatters with watered-down white acrylic paint
  • cut out two hill shapes and add some blue at the top as well
  • adhere the panel to a cardbase
  • glue down the letters - this time the glitter cardstock is outline with kraft cardstock

Have a christmasy day.

Let it snow Santa

Hi there,

as promised I am back with another Gerda Steiner Designs Christmas Project. This time I would like to show you this cute Santa Card:

  • stamp the Santa from the Gerda Steiner Designs Snow Angel set with Lawn Fawn River Rock, cut it out and color it with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers
  • create a background on a stitched panel cut from smooth white cardstock using Distress Oxide Ink Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac and a Blending Brush
  • add water and glitter droplets for a snow effect
  • stamp the Santa and the sentiment from the same stamp set onto the background panel with Versamark and heat-emboss it with white embossing glitter
  • cover the cardbase with patterned paper before adhering the panel

Have a christmasy day.
