Pastel Leaves

Hi there,

I created this slimline fall card with pastel leaves for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out a panel from smooth white cardstock using one of the Karten-Kunst Stitched DIN lang dies and a second panel from kraft cardstock
• stamp the Karten-Kunst Herbst-Blätter with Distress Oxide Ink (Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Antique Linen, Gathered Twigs, Victorian Velvet, Seedless Preserves)
• add some watered-down splatters with those darker inks
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versafine Clair Pinecone
• add some golden sequins as final embellishments

You're one in a Melon

Hi there,

I created this sweet summer card using the bear from the Gerda Steiner Designs Melon Friends stamp set:

• stamp the bear and some melon slices from the Gerda Steiner Designs Melon Friends set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black - use the Masking Technique
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• use a black gel pen to accent the melon seeds
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versafine Onyx Black
• add strips of pink cardstock and of patterned paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

With Love Feather

Hi there,

this is my newest project for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out a panel from smooth white cardstock using one of the Karten-Kunst Stitched DIN lang dies
• stamp one of the sentiments from the Karten-Kunst Spruch-Kombi Geburtstag set with Versafine Onyx Black
• add some splatters with Acrylic Ink Neonpink
• cut out a feather from smooth white cardstock using the larger of the Karten-Kunst Feathers Federn die set
• add color to the feather using Distress Ink (Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry)
• embellish the card with some stars and dots stamped in Versafine Onyx Black from the Karten-Kunst Kränze und Kreise set

this is another Christmas Card created with the Anjas Basteltraum Wollige Weihnachten stamp set:

• stamp the socks from the Anjas Basteltraum Wollige Weihnachten set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Weihnachtswünsche set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Silver embossing powder
• add a strip of glitter paper to the top and bottom of the panel and adhere it to a cardbase covered with patterned paper

I created this see-through card with the new Karten-Kunst Spruch-Kombi Geburtstag stamp set:

• cut out a Karten-Kunst Stitched Circle from the front of the cardbase
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Spruch-Kombi Geburtstag with Versamark inside the card and heat-emboss it with Metallic Gold Rich Super Fine embossing powder
• re-insert the cut-out circle and stamp some greenery from the Karten-Kunst Doodle Plants set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add highlights with a white gel pen
