Sending Lots of Happiness

Hi there,

I created this cute Garden Card for Anjas Basteltraum:

• create a scene with images from the Anjas Basteltraum Herbsternte set and Gina K. Designs Obsidian - use the masking technique
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Tumbled Glass
• add some dots with a blue gel pen
• cut out the Creative Expressions Sending Lots of Happiness from white cardstock and add blue shading to the bottom part of the sentiment
• add strips of patterned paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Affirmation Cards - Set 1

Hi there,

in August I showed you this sweet Love Box that I created for little Affirmation Cards and I promised that I would show you those cards as well. Over the next few weeks I will publish a pair of those every Thursday for Mennys Bastelshop:

• cut out a stitched panel from kraft cardstock
• cut out a scalloped panel from white cardstock using one of the dies from the My Favorite Things Everyday Gift Box die set
• create a background on this panel using the My Favorite Things Recipe for Life set and VersaMagic (Aquatic Splash) and add little hearts from the Tracey Hey Bits and Bobs set stamped with Hero Art Shadow Ink Silver
• the words are cut from black cardstock using the Tim Holtz Friendship Words die set
• the images are from the Mama Elephant School Rules and the Mama Elephant Deliver Spring Happiness stamp sets
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• as a finishing touch I covered the sentiment with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter

Celebrate Jellyfish

Hi there,

on this card for Mennys Bastelshop I used the My Favorite Things Ocean-Sized Hugs stamp set:

• stamp an image from the My Favorite Things Ocean-Sized Hugs set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian and color it with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a waterbrush
• add highlights with a white gel pen and a Karin Decogel Star Sparks pen
• create a background using Distress Ink (Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot), foiled cardstock, vellum and colored cardstock
• run blue cardstock through your Big Shot in the Spellbinders Tiny Dots embossing folder
• add the sentiment using black cardstock, vellum and one of the CUTplorations Skinny Sentiments

Take Time for Yourself

Hi there,

I created this fun Summer Card for Anjas Basteltraum:

• stamp the sweet racoon from the Anjas Basteltraum Strandausflug set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out a Paper Smooches Postage Stamp around the image
• add some postmarks with the help of the Waffle Flower Postage Collage stamp set and Distress Oxide Ink Pumice Stone - I used second generation stamping here
• create a background using the Penny Black Noted embossing folder 
• add color to the raised areas with that same grey ink
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Sprüche Meerzeit set with Versafine Clair Warm Breeze onto some vellum and heat-emboss it with clear embossing powder

Sending Ocean-Sized Hugs

Hi there,

it's Inspiration Week over at Mennys Bastelshop and this week's topic is "Kraft Cardstock". On my card I used lots of adorable images from My Favorite Things Ocean-Sized Hugs stamp set:

• stamp four images from the My Favorite Things Ocean-Sized Hugs set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the images with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a waterbrush
• add highlights with a white gel pen and a Karin Decogel Star Sparks pen
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versamark onto a strip of kraft cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Colour Blend Verdigris embossing powder
• for the background I used the Taylored Expressions Bubbles embossing folder, the Time for Tea Designs Slimline Postage Stamp Frame die set, the Taylored Expressions Rolling Waves dies, blue cardstock and again kraft cardstock
