Hi there,
I just created another "hello card". It is quite different from the last one. I hope that you like it, too.
As a first step, I stamped one of my favorite backgrounds on watercolor paper and after letting this dry, I used Distress Stains on my craft sheet to create this beautiful watercolor background. For the hello sentiment I glued together three diecut layers and embossed them with three different colors of embossing powder. Here is a closeup.
It has an enamel kind of grungy look and I like it a lot.
I am going to link this card up to the following challenges:
Keep it Simple! # 39: Watercolor
Creative Friday #101: DIY Papier
Addicted to CAS Challenge #37 - Grunge
Moving along with the Times - Pretty Pastels Challenge
Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Pretty & Pink
Here is my list of supplies:
IndigoBlu - Ledger Background
Hero Arts Shadow Ink (Soft Granite)
Sternenstaub Embossing Powder - Perlmutt Silber
Ranger Embossing Powder - Turquoise
Zing! Embossing Powder - Rose
Distress Stains (Picket Fence, Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry)
diecut
white cardstock
Until next time.
Yours,
Tanja
