can you believe it ... this is my 200th post already ... I would like to take the time, to thank you for your support and appreciation. I recently added a follower button and I would be delighted if you join my site (it is on the left side right under the "Popular Posts" section).
And of course I also got a card to show you. I got inspired by Debby and Tara and their use of balsa wood. I thought to myself: why limit this wonderful trend to light wood only and I got some different colors of 0,6 mm wood veneer and started experimenting. Here is the result:
- cut a wood veneer panel to size and round the edges with a 0,5'' corner rounder
- punch three hearts from the dark leftover piece and cover them with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
- stamp flower, dots and ornaments from Altenew Hennah Elements with Versamark and heat-emboss with Zing! white embossing powder
- color the flowers with Stabilo Pen 68
- cut a piece of burlap about the same size as the wood veneer panel
- stamp border from the same stamp set on the a kraft cardbase with Versamark and heat-emboss with the same white embossing powder
I am going to participate in the following challenges:
Fusion Card Challenge - Floral Celebration (I used just the sketch)
Make the Day Special Challenge (I used colour scheme B)
Simon says Stamp Monday Challenge - Anything goes
Have a nice week.
Yours,
Tanja
