today, I would like to show you this shaker card that I created for the Karten-Kunst blog:
- create the shaker piece by cutting a circle frame (five times) and a background circle from watercolor paper, a circle from acetate and another, slightly bigger circle frame from the BoBunny Candy Cane Lane 6x6 paper pad
- stamp the branch with the brown from Cat's Eye Queues Rich Rustics and two of the birds from Lawn Fawn Winter Sparrows with Colorbox Cat's Eye Black on the background circle and color them with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and Zest-it
- paint a watercolor sky with the Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor paint
- add Gelly Roll Stardust Clear to the cap and the earlap
- add normal and heart-shaped sequins and assemble the shaker piece
- stamp the little note on a piece of light kraft cardstock with Versamark for a tone-on-tone look
- mat the light kraft cardstock piece on the same patterned paper used for the shaker piece frame
- stamp the sentiment "Viele Grüße" (Many Greetings) from the Karten-Kunst Set Grüße on a dark kraft cardbase with Versamark and heat-emboss with white embossing powder
- round the bottom corners with a corner rounder and add faux stitching with a white gel pen
