today, I have another Christmas card that I would like to show you:
- apply Distress Ink (Gathered Twigs) through the Tim Holtz Layering Stencil (Festive) onto a kraft cardbase and heat-emboss with WOW! Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing powder; ink up the edges with the same Distress Ink
- stamp the beautiful Waltzingmouse Stamps Gingham & Co. with Distress Ink (Pine Needles) on a banner cut from Distress Cardstock (Pine Needles) in order to create a lovely tone-on-tone look and ink up the edges with the same ink
- stamp the sentiment from Waltzingmouse Stamps Elf Made onto a kraft panel with Distress Ink (Gathered Twigs), heat-emboss with the same embossing powder and ink up the edges with the same ink color - put some Versamark underneath the Distress Ink on the clear stamp to minimize pooling and get a crisp sentiment
- cut a triangle shape from wood, stamp Flamingo-Art H-2087 with Distress Ink (Gathered Twigs) and heat-emboss with the same WOW! embossing powder (be careful not to heat it too long, for it will turn white on the wood - ask me how I know :o)
Here is a close-up:
