1 Stamp - 10 Tags ... Part 1 - Watercolor Stamping
Hi there,
this is the first tag of my little series "1 Stamp - 10 Tags" that I created for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

this is the first tag of my little series "1 Stamp - 10 Tags" that I created for the Karten-Kunst Blog:
- cut a tag from watercolor paper
- ink the flower from Karten-Kunst Gartenblumen with Distress Inks (Picked Raspberry, Mowed Lawn) and spritz it with water before stamping it down
- soften the lines with a waterbrush
- add some Distress Ink splatters (Black Soot)
- stamp the sentiment (Alles Gute means All the Best) from the same set with Versafine (Onyx Black)
- add faux stitching with a black Micron Pen
- thread two strings of twine through the hole of the tag

today, I have another Christmas card for you:
- stamp the gingerbread girl and the gingerbread boy from Lawn Fawn Sweet Christmas and the postmark from Lawn Fawn You've got Mail on white cardstock and color the images with Lyra Polycolor Pencils, Zest-it and Wink of Stella Clear and Silver Glitter
- stamp the postcard from Lawn Fawn You've got Mail on kraft cardstock and stamp "DEC. 25" with Lawn Fawn Claire's ABCs and Versafine (Crimson Red)
- ink up the edges of the postcard with Distress Ink (Vintage Photo)
- cut a frame from fun foam and a slightly bigger one from patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn Snow Day petite paper pack
- stamp the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Deck the Halls with StazOn (Cotton White) on the acetate cover
- add sequins and little peppermint swirls stamped with Lawn Fawn Sweet Christmas and punched out from patterned paper from the BoBunny Candy Cane Lane 6x6 paper pad
- stamp the snowflake background from Lawn Fawn Let it Snow on a kraft cardbase with Perfect Medium and add Perfect Pearls (Pewter)

Christmas Elf Box - Part Two
Hi there,
a while ago I created a Christmas Elf Box for my son to give to my daughter for Christmas. Yesterday, I finished the one for my daughter to give to my son - there will be his first fountain pen inside.

a while ago I created a Christmas Elf Box for my son to give to my daughter for Christmas. Yesterday, I finished the one for my daughter to give to my son - there will be his first fountain pen inside.
- cut the Pencil Box from The Cutting Cafe from kraft cardstock and cover it with patterned paper from Crate Paper Bundled up
- punch a star-shaped hole in the lid for the tag
- stamp the elf girl from Waltzingmouse Stamps Elf Made - such a lovely set - on Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock with Versafine Vintage Sepia and color her with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils, Zest-it, Liquid Applique and PITT Metallic Markers (silver, ruby, blue)
- add Glossy Accents to the bell, the berries and the tips of the paintbrushes
- stamp the label from the same set on a tag shape cut from Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock and ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Gathered Twigs) - add the details with a dark sepia PITT Artist Pen
- use Mistletoe twine and two jingle bells to adhere the tag and foam tape to adhere the elf girl

today, I have a cute little card all about love for you:
- stamp one of the cute cats from Mama Elephant Purrfect Pair on grey Pastelmat cardstock and add some shading with PITT Pastel Pencils
- cut out two tags - one from white cardstock and one from red glitter cardstock
- run the white tag through the Sizzix Texture Boutique using the Darice Paw Print embossing folder
- add four hearts cut from the same glitter paper to the tag
- stamp the sentiment from Mama Elephant Cross my Heart on a vellum strip with Versamark and heat-emboss with Zing! Metallic Red embossing powder
- add red twine to the hole of the tag
- stamp the Hero Arts Tiny Heart Background with Versamark on a white cardbase and add Perfect Pearls (Interference Red)
- round the four corners of the card with a 1/2'' inch corner rounder

today, I have another Christmas card that I would like to show you:
- apply Distress Ink (Gathered Twigs) through the Tim Holtz Layering Stencil (Festive) onto a kraft cardbase and heat-emboss with WOW! Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing powder; ink up the edges with the same Distress Ink
- stamp the beautiful Waltzingmouse Stamps Gingham & Co. with Distress Ink (Pine Needles) on a banner cut from Distress Cardstock (Pine Needles) in order to create a lovely tone-on-tone look and ink up the edges with the same ink
- stamp the sentiment from Waltzingmouse Stamps Elf Made onto a kraft panel with Distress Ink (Gathered Twigs), heat-emboss with the same embossing powder and ink up the edges with the same ink color - put some Versamark underneath the Distress Ink on the clear stamp to minimize pooling and get a crisp sentiment
- cut a triangle shape from wood, stamp Flamingo-Art H-2087 with Distress Ink (Gathered Twigs) and heat-emboss with the same WOW! embossing powder (be careful not to heat it too long, for it will turn white on the wood - ask me how I know :o)

- cut two hills from sturdy white cardstock, cover them with Versamark and heat-emboss them with sparkling embossing powder
- stamp the cute little Yeti from Lawn Fawn Yeti, Set, Go with Versafine Onyx Black and color the image with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils and Zest-it - add some details with a white gel pen
- stamp the sentiment from Mias Stempelküche 365 Tage with Versamark on a strip of vellum and heat-emboss with silver embossing powder
- mat the panel on a piece of patterned paper and adhere everything on a white cardbase

this is the Christmas card that I created with a cute new digital stamp from Gerda Steiner Designs:
- color Gerda Steiner Designs Angel with Lights with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and Zest-it
- add metallic gold PITT Artist Pen to the halo and the cord, white gel pen to the eyes, Glossy Accents to the light bulbs, Liquid Applique (white) to the cuffs of her dress and Stampendous Crystal Glitter Multi Ultra Fine to the stars on her dress
- I cut off the wings and replaced them with feathers
- create a background on Mix Media paper using Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lilac, Broken China) and mist it with Perfect Pearls Mist (Heirloom Gold) and Distress Stain (Picket Pence) from a Mini Mister
- cut snowflakes from Elizabeth Craft Designs Shimmer Sheetz Gemstone Sampler Pack and add Pretty Pink Posh sequins (4mm Sparkling Clear)
- stamp the sentiment from Lili of the Valley Christmas Handwritten Phrases directly onto the background with Versamark and heat-emboss with metallic purple embossing powder
- round the top right corner with a 1'' corner rounder

- add faux stitching with a Memento Dual Marker (London Fog) and Stickles in Christmas Red and Picket Fence to the headband, the nose and the whipped cream
- punch a star-shaped hole in the tag and add three strings of golden thread
- stamp Impression Obsession Cover-a-Card Stars on a kraft cardbase with Delicata Golden Glitz and add some ink around the edges
- add the sentiment from Stampendous Christmas Words with Versafine Vintage Sepia
- draw in some sparkly snowflakes with a dark sepia PITT Artist Pen and a stardust clear gel pen
- add two banner-shaped stripes from the BoBunny Candy Cane Lane 6x6 paper pad

- apply translucent embossing paste through the Memory Box Tiny Snowflakes stencil
- cut two hills from sturdy white cardstock, cover them with Versamark and heat-emboss with sparkling embossing powder
- stamp three pine trees and the fox from Lawn Fawn Critters in the Forest with Versafine Onyx Black on white cardstock and color them with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils and Zest-it
- add texture paste to the trees
- stamp the sentiment from Karten-Kunst Kombi-Set Grüße with Versamark on a strip of vellum and heat-emboss with Zing! Metallic Teal embossing powder
- use dark kraft cardstock as a cardbase

today, I would like to show you this clean and layered snowman-tag-card that I created:
- stamp the small snowman, the scarf and the earmuffs from Lawn Fawn Making Frosty Friends with Versafine Smokey Gray on watercolor paper
- color the images with Peerless Watercolors, Wink of Stella Clear and Silver Glitter and Liquid Applique
- add Matte Multi Medium to the snowman and cover him with sprinkles of Distress Glitter (Clear Rock Candy)
- cut a tag from watercolor paper and from vellum
- stamp the snow background from Lawn Fawn Let it Snow with Hero Arts Shadow Ink (Silver) on the watercolor tag and layer the vellum tag on top
- cut two little hills from the same white paper, cover them with Versamark and heat-emboss them with WOW! Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing powder
- cut out a rectangular background panel from the same white paper and run it through the Sizzix Texture Boutique using the Snowflake embossing folder from the Snowflake Pattern and Plaid Set
- stamp the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Let it Snow with Versamark on a strip of vellum, heat-emboss it with Ranger Watering Can embossing powder and wrap it around the card panel
- add Lawn Fawn Silver Sparkle twine to the hole of the tag and add a tiny bow on top
