Fairy Dress

Hi there,

today, I would like to show you this mixed media card:

• watercolor A Day for Daisies Fairy Dress 1 with Distress Inks (Milled Lavender, Shaded Lilac, Dusty Concord, Tumbled Glass, Broken China) and create an ombre look
• color the belt and the hanger with Wink of Stella Silver and Black Glitter
• cut the frame from Lori Whitlock 2 Frames from purple glitter cardstock
• add a piece of burlap ribbon to the left side of the picture and Distress Stickles (Tumbled Glass) to the wings
• glue tissue paper on a piece of watercolor paper using Dina Wakley Gel Medium (I just got this yesterday - I orderd it because I heard Dina recommend it for the use with tissue paper and it really works fantastic) and cover it with gesso
• add Distress Paints (Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Peacock Feathers, Pumice Stone)
• stamp Unity Stamps Distressed Quilt with Distress Paint (Tumbled Glass) and mist the background with pearlized water
• apply Distress Ink (Shaded Lilac) through the My Favorite Things Swiss Dots Stencil and heat-emboss them with Frosted Crystal embossing powder
• shift the stencil and apply Distress Ink (Dusty Concord) for darker dots
• cut the type-written sentiment apart and ink the parts up with Distress Ink (Pumice Stone) and apply Distress Ink (Black Soot) around the edges
• add faux stitching with a black Fude Ball Pen and smudge the lines with your fingers right after application to give them a worn look
• encircle the sentiment parts with Gelly Roll Stardust Clear
• ink up the edges with Distress Inks (Pumice Stone, Dusty Concord)
