Happy Submarine Birthday

Hi there,

today, I would like to show you a boy birthday card that I created for this week's Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge:

• create a background on watercolor paper using the Memory Box Texture Wave Stencil and Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Salty Ocean)
• stamp the submarine from Waltzingmouse Stamps Half Pint Heroes on white cardstock and add a face from the same set
• color the stamped image with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils and Zest-it
• stamp the bubbles from the same stamp set directly onto the background with Versamark and heat-emboss with WOW! Clear Multi Sparkle embossing powder; add a generous amount of Glossy Aceents to the bubbles
• I filled my Glossy Accents in this fabulous bottle to prevent the usual clogging
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versamark on a strip of vellum and heat-emboss with Ranger Turquoise embossing powder; wrap the strip around the background panel
• stamp several fish from Lawn Fawn Critters in the Sea on white cardstock and color them with the above mentioned pencils
• adhere the background panel to a scalloped piece of light blue cardstock
