1 Image - 3 Ways of Coloring ... Part 1: Colored Pencils

Hi there,

this is the start of my new series "1 Image - 3 Ways of Coloring" that I created for the Karten-Kunst Blog.

I will show you three cards with the same focal image which has been colored with Colored Pencils, Watercolor Pencils and Alcohol Markers.

Today, we will start with the Colored Pencils - a coloring medium which probably everybody has on hand at home:

• stamp the turtle from Lawn Fawn Critters in the Sea with Versafine (Onyx Black) on white cardstock and color the image with Spectrum Noir Pencils and Zest-it
• mask of a circle on a white cardbase and blend out some Versamagic (Oasis Green) with a Sponge Dauber
• use the negative of the mask and apply the same ink through the Memory Box Wave Stencil
• stamp the sentiment from Karten-Kunst Du bist... with the same ink color
• add faux stitching with a grey marker and Glossy Accent dots
• round three corners with your corner rounder
