today, I would like to show you this mixed media home decor piece. I created it for my application for the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Design Team and as you now know Shery picked me. I am over the moon. The team will start sharing inspirational projects in July - so stay tuned.

- cover a piece of watercolor paper with Papermania tissue paper and gesso
- apply Prima Marketing Color Bloom Spray Sparkling Pastels Iris and Sultry Shimmer Summer Sky through the Scrapberry's Petals Pattern stencil
- apply Distress Ink (Weathered Wood) through a Tim Holtz Layering Stencil (Schoolhouse) and Distress Ink (Dusty Concord) through the Tim Holtz Layering Stencil (Gothic)
- stamp the Poppies from Sheena Douglass Poppies and Dasies with Archival Ink (Jet Black) and color the image with Distress Paints (Peeled Paint, Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick)
- dye texture paste with the leftover pink paint and apply it through the Memory Box Splatter Spray stencil
- print out the sentimet using a typewriter font, cut it apart and ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Dusty Concord)
- ink up the edges of th whole panel with Distress Ink (Dusty Concord) and heat-emboss them with WOW! Clear Sparkle embossing powder for a little extra shine
- use a piece of corrugated cardstock as a background, apply Distress Paint (Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick) and ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Dusty Concord)
