• stamp the tree from Paper Smooches Promenade with Versafine (Vintage Sepia) and color the image with Spectrum Noir Pencils and Zest-it
• stamp the bike from the same stamp set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with Wendy Vecchi embossing powder (Watering Can) for extra shine and dimension
• add clouds using the Dutch Doobadoo Clouds Mask and Jaxell Soft Pastels
• stamp the sentiment from Paper Smooches Get outta Town with Versafine (Onyx Black)
• add faux stitching with a dark sepia PITT Artist Pen
• round the bottom corners with a 1'' corner rounder

Focus on Naughty Puppies - Part 4

Hi there,

this is the fourth and last part of my little series "Focus on Naughty Puppies" for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• stamp one of the puppies from Wee Stamps Naughty Puppies with Versafine Onyx Black on a watercolor panel and color the image with Faber-Castell Art Grip Aquarelle Pencils and a waterbrush
• apply white embossing paste dyed with Distress Paint (Dusty Concord) through the Memory Box Garden Floral Confetti Stencil to the dark kraft cardbase
• stamp the sentiment from Karten-Kunst Kombi-Set Grüße with Versafine Imperial Purple on a strip of vellum and heat-emboss it with clear embossing powder
• add faux stitching around the image panel with a Distress Marker (Dusty Concord)
• ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Dusty Concord and a Mini Ink Blending Tool
• add three sequins as final embellishments

Love you a Latte - Lawnscaping June Blog Hop

Hi there,

I am part of the Lawnscaping June Blog Hop and this is my creation:

• stamp the postcard from Lawn Fawn You've got Mail on a piece of watercolor paper and color it with Distress Inks (Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy)
• stamp the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Love you a Latte with Versafine (Vintage Sepia) directly to the postacard panel
• stamp two cups from the same stamp set with Memento (Tuxedo Black) on Perfect Colouring Paper and color the images with Delta Markers; add Wink of Stella Clear Glitter as a finishing touch
• cut out six frames from white cardstock and one frame from patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn Let's Polka Mon Amie petite paper pack; glue the frames on top of each other and add a layer of acetate before adding the patterned paper frame - by doing so you created a very sturdy shaker element
• fill the shaker element with Doodlebug Design Bon Bon Sequins and puzzle all the pieces together
• create a custom-made background by stamping the little coffee bean from the Lawn Fawn Love you a Latte set on a kraft cardbase with Adirondack Dye Ink (Latte)

this week we are having a mixed media challenge over at the 52{Christmas} Card Throwdown:

• create a background on watercolor paper using Prima Marketing Color Bloom Sultry Shimmer Cobalt and Sparkling Pastels Soft Teal Spray
• apply Distress Ink (Broken China) through the Memory Box Distressed Grid Stencil for subtle Texture
• apply Texture Paste through the Tim Holtz Layering Stencil (Festive) and color the different parts with Distress Inks (Festive Berries, Gathered Twigs, Evergreen Bough, Pine Needles) - make sure that the Texture Paste is totally dry before applying the ink with a Mini Ink Blending Tool
• add Stickles (Christmas Red) to the berries
• cut out "Winter" from the svgcuts Winter Bliss Collection twice and layer the pieces on top of each other, cover them with Versamark and heat-emboss them with silver embossing powder
• cut a banner from black cardstock and stamp "wishes" from Hero Arts All Occasion Messages with Versamark and heat-emboss with the same embossing powder
• dye a piece of seam binding with Distress Inks (Festive Berries, Evergreen Bough), create a bough and adhere it to the panel
• use kraft cardstock as a base

• stamp the banner from Penny Black Embellishments with Versafine Smokey Gray on patterned paper and adhere it to a white cardbase using foam dots
• stamp the cute little hedgehog from Penny Black Hugs with Versafine Smokey Gray and color the image with Delta Markers and add some detail with a fine black Pigma Micron Pen
• stamp the chevron border from Penny Black Embellishments with Versafine Smokey Gray for the hedgehog to stand on
• add the sentiment from Penny Black Hugs with Versafine Crimson Red
• apply Wink of Stella Clear Glitter over the heart for extra sparkle

this is my card for this week's Colour me ...! Challenge.

This is my last challenge as a Design Team Member and I want to say thank you for having me. I hope you got inspired by my creations. I will see you around.

Each week we will have a creative colour challenge for you to get crafty and show us your best greeting cards, 3D projects, scrapbooking, digital or traditional paper crafts, costumes, etc. Only the colours we indicate may be used for your project. Neutrals such as black, grey, white, vanilla, skin colours and kraft are also welcome.

This week we are using Melon Mambo, Perfect Plum, Tangerine Tango & Pink Pirouette ... have fun!

• stamp the star-shaped balloon from Avery Elle Ellie with Distress Inks (Spun Sugar, Ripe Persimmon, Dusty Concord, Worn Lipstick) on watercolor paper
• use a waterbrush to draw the color from the outline into the balloons; use a white gel pen to add highlights
• stamp the biggest star from the same set a couple of times with the same ink colors
• ink up the edges of the watercolor panel with Distress Ink (Dusty Concord)
• draw in the balloon strings with a Memento Marker (Gray Flannell)
• stamp the star pair from the same stamp set with Versamark onto the border of a kraft cardbase and heat-emboss with golden embossing powder
• stamp the sentiment from Mama Elephant Make a Wish with Versamark and heat-emboss with the same embossing powder

connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Cornelia from Stempel Spass and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our fourth transatlantic get-together!

Our requirements this time were:

"One Layer and Stencil"

• stamp two of the butterflies from STAMPlorations Trendy Butterflies with Versafine (Smokey Gray) and ColorBox Archival Ink (Glacier Lake)
• cover the butterflies with Masking Fluid
• stamp the JudiKins Papyrus with Wendy Vecchi Archival Ink (Watering Can)
• apply Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Broken Chine, Peacock Feathers) to the Memory Box Drip Rings stencil, mist it with water and press it onto the watercolor cardbase - repeat the process until you are happy with the result
• ink up the edges of the card with Distress Ink (Broken China)
• apply Distress Ink (Peacock Feathers) throught the Tim Holtz Layering Stencil (Dot Fade)
• stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set with Jenni Bowlin Chicken Feed Ink
• add some splatters of Radiant Rain Shimmer Mist (Pewter)

we are having a fun theme challenge over at the 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown this week:

• stamp the lovely elf girl from Waltzingmouse Stamps Elf Made with Memento (Tuxedo Black) on Perfect Coloouring Paper and color the image with Delta Markers
• add Glossy Accents to the two little berries and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the tips of the paint brushes
• create a background on Neenah Desert Storm Kraft Cardstock by stamping the little chocolates from the same stamp set with Versafine (Vintage Sepia) - I used second generation stamping here to make it look more subtle
• color the chocolates with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a Dove Blender Pen
• stamp the sentiment with Versafine (Vintage Sepia)

• stamp the paint strip and the paint splatter from My Favorite Things Jumbo Abstract Art with Distress Inks (Dusty Concord, Shabby Shutters, Peacock Feathers) on a white cardbase
• create a cut file from the "happy" from Mama Elephant Happy Everything and cut it twice from white cardstock; glue the two layers on top of each other, cover them with Versamark and heat-emboss the first part of the sentiment with ZING! white embossing powder
• stamp the second part of the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black)
• add several Pretty Pink Posh Sequins (6mm and 4mm Sparkling Clear)
• round all four corners with your 1'' corner rounder

Hi there,

we are having a colour challenge over at the 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown this week:

I used black, white and blue

• stamp the sheet of ice from Mama Elephant Arctic Penguins with Memento (Tuxedo Black) onto a white cardbase and color it with Delta Markers - I made mine a bit bigger by first stamping the right side, leaving a gap and then stamping the left side; I filled in the gap with my black PITT Artist Pen
• stamp two penguins, three presents and a cap from the same stamp set with Memento (Tuxedo Black) on Perfect Colouring Paper and color the images with Delta Markers
• stamp the two parts of the sentiment and the little circles and snowflakes from Mama Elephant Jolly & Merry with Versafine (Majestic Blue)
• round the bottom left and the top right corner with a 1'' corner rounder
