Hi there,
connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Cornelia from Stempel Spass
and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined
requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of
the month and this is our fourth transatlantic get-together!
Our requirements this time were:
"One Layer and Stencil"
Make sure to hop over to see Cornelia's creation.
- stamp two of the butterflies from STAMPlorations Trendy Butterflies with Versafine (Smokey Gray) and ColorBox Archival Ink (Glacier Lake)
- cover the butterflies with Masking Fluid
- stamp the JudiKins Papyrus with Wendy Vecchi Archival Ink (Watering Can)
- apply Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Broken Chine, Peacock Feathers) to the Memory Box Drip Rings stencil, mist it with water and press it onto the watercolor cardbase - repeat the process until you are happy with the result
- ink up the edges of the card with Distress Ink (Broken China)
- apply Distress Ink (Peacock Feathers) throught the Tim Holtz Layering Stencil (Dot Fade)
- stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set with Jenni Bowlin Chicken Feed Ink
- add some splatters of Radiant Rain Shimmer Mist (Pewter)
