Stamp Connection #5

Hi there,

connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Cornelia from Stempel Spass and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our fifth transatlantic get-together!

Our requirements this time were:

"Winnie & Walter In a Word: Hi Cutaway and Stencil"

Make sure to hop over and take a look at Cornelia's creation.

• cut out the "hi" from Winnie & Walter In a Word: Friend, Hello, Hi & Hugs Digital Elements
• color the sentiment with Distress Paint (Spun Sugar)
• apply another layer of Distress Paint (Dusty Concord) through a Tim Holtz Layering Stencil (Scribbles)
• create a background on a piece of grey cardstock cut with the My Favorite Things Stitched Square STAX using the Lawn Fawn Woodgrain Backdrops, Versamark and WOW Silver Pearl Super Fine embossing powder
• punch out butterflies from vellum and adhere them to the panel using Vellum Bond
• mount everything on a black cardbase
