Watercolor Backgrounds with Distress Inks - Part 2: Acrylic Block

Hi there,

this is the second part of my new series for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out a tag from watercolor paper using the Paper Smooches Gift Tags 2 Dies and the Big Shot
• apply some Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Broken China) to an acrylic block, mist it with water from a Mini Mister and stamp this mixture onto the tag until you are satisfied with the result - you may of course dry in between layers to achieve that typical watercolor look
• stamp the crab and the seaweed from Lawn Fawn Critters in the Sea with Memento Tuxedo Black and color the images with Delta Markers
• add details with a white gel pen
• create a little background by stamping the bubbles from the same stamps set with Versafine Smokey Gray and heat-ebossing them with Glitter embossing powder
• stamp the Karten-Kunst "zum Geburtstag" sentiment with Versafine Majestic Blue
• add some burlap to the top of the tag using a stapler and add a DIY enamel dot on top of that
