Your Smile lights up the World

Hi there,

this is the start of a little Art Journal Page Series that I am starting as part of the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Design Team. Today, we are starting a new Mixed Media Challenge.

• cut a panel from very sturdy watercolor paper (425 g/qm), cover it with gesso and punch two holes at the left side
• add Texture Paste through the ARTplorations Stencil Happy Flowers and let it dry thoroughly
• spray the panel with Prima Marketing Color Bloom Sparkling Pastels Iris and the Aqua-colored spray from the Color Lab Paint Kit
• color the flowers with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors
• stamp the sentiment from STAMPlorations Fond Exressions 2 with Versafine (Imperial Purple)
• ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Hickory Smoke)
• add clear embossing powder for subtle texture and shine
• as a final touch add some paint splatters with Distress Paint (Peacock Feathers)
