it's Stencil Sunday over at the STAMPlorations Blog and today, I would like to show you the second page of my Mixed Media Art Journal:
- stamp the houses from STAMPlorations Houses with Memento (Tuxedo Black) and color the images with Delta Markers
- add highlights with a white gel pen
- cut out a compass from watercolor paper and color it with Distress Stains (Black Soot, Tarnished Brass)
- cut a panel from very sturdy watercolor paper (425 g/qm), cover it with gesso and punch two holes at the left side
- color the background with Gelatos (Butter Cream, Butterscotch, Chocolate) and add water droplets to remove some of the color in order to create texture
- stamp elements from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge set with Memento Luxe (Wedding Dress, Rich Cocoa) and VersaMagic (Niagara Mist)
- apply Distress Ink (Wild Honey) throught the ARTplorations Just Squares stencil
- adhere the houses, the compass and the printed sentiment with Soft Matte Gel
- ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Ground Espresso)
