Yours,
it is time for the Skipping Stones Design Tip/Technique Blog Hop. Today, I would like to encourage you to use your leftover products and paper scraps:
- after applying golden embossing paste through a snowflake stencil there was much of the product left and I didn't just want to wash it all away; for this reason I pressed the stencil paste down on a leftover piece of cardstock and look at the cool texture I got
- add some Distress Ink (Antique Linen) and some Distress Stain (Tumbled Glass) to the panel and cut out a tag
- ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Frayed Burlap)
- stamp the sentiment from Skipping Stones Design Heartsong with Versafine (Vintage Sepia)
- cut out another tag from a scrap of watercolor paper, stamp the garland from Skipping Stones Design Christmas Labels with Versamark and heat-emboss the background with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
- color the background using Distress Stains (Tumbled Glass, Tarnished Brass) and ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Frayed Burlap)
- add twine and golden thread to the hole of the double-tag
