Skipping Stones Design is joining the Winter Holiday Coffee Lover's Blog Hop:
- cut out a stitched panel from watercolor paper using the Waltzingmouse Stamps Stitched Rectangles
- stamp the snowflake from the Skipping Stones Design Christmas Labels stamp set several times with Versamark and heat-emboss them with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
- create a background using Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon)
- spritz the background with Pearlized Water for more texture
- cut out the coffe cup with the help of the My Favorite Things Coffee Cup die from watercolor paper
- stamp the rose from the Skipping Stones Design Victorian Summer stamp set with Versamark and heat embosss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
- color the band with Distress Ink (Shaded Lilac, Dusty Condord) and the rest of the cup with Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon)
- stamp the sentiment from Skipping Stones Design Holiday Cats with Versafine (Deep Lagoon)
- mat the main panel on a piece of patterned paper cut from the BoBunny Altitude 6x6 paper pad with the Waltzingmouse Stamps Scalloped Stitched Rectangles

ReplyDeleteI love this color blue. It is was one of my favorites. The snowflake is absolutely beautiful especially being embossed. I am pretending this is hot chocolate or hot tea. My idea of coffee is ¼ coffee, ¼ sugar and ½ cream. On top of that it has to be weak coffee. Beautiful card. Thanks for joining us at Come And Get It challenge. Bunny DT

Ausgefallene Kreation mit ausgefallenen Farben für eine Weihnachtskarte. Aber die Farben passen supi zusammen. Ich kommentiere deswegen auf deutsch, weil ich bereits einige Kommentare von Dir erhalten habe und ich weiß, dass Du mich verstehst ;-) Ist das schön auch mal in meiner Muttersprache zu kommentieren :-)
