Hi there,

I created this Home Decor Mixed Media Woodpanel for the STAMPlorations Stencil Sunday and the start of our new monthly challenge:

• color a wooden panel with grey chalk paint
• add DecoArt Antiquing Cream (Titanium White) on top and wipe it off at some places
• seal the piece with DecoArt Soft-Touch Varnish
• scratch all the layers away with your fingernails at some places and sand the edges of the panel
• add DecoArt Crackle Glaze on top and let dry thoroughly
• apply DecoArt Antiquing Cream (Raw Umber) to make the crackles more visible
• dye DecoArt Crackle Paste with Distress Re-Inker (Hickory Smoke, Picked Raspberry) and apply it through the ARTplorations Sweet Home Large stencil
• add shadows to the hearts and the letters with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a waterbrush
• stamp elements from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge and the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Elements with StazOn (Cloudy Sky, Spiced Chai)
• use a a piece of foam to paint the edges with Distress Paint (Walnut Stain)
• add splatters with Finetec Mica Watercolor (Limited Edition Dragon Silver)
