I would like to show you this fun masculine Birthday Card using Gerda Steiner Designs stamps over at the Karten-Kunst Blog:
- cut out a stitched panel using the Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers from Neenah Desert Storm Kraft cardstock
- stamp the singing squirrel from the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Fall stamp set with Versafine (Vintage Sepia) and mask it
- stamp a background with the help of the "Happy Birthday" from the Gerda Steiner Designs Just Sentiments set and Versafine (Vintage Sepia)
- color the squirrel with Derwent Coloursoft Pencils and Zest-it
- add highlights to the nose and the teeth of the squirrel with a white gel pen
- stamp some music notes from the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Fall set to the background with Versafine (Onyx Black)
- before adhering the panel to a cardbase adhere a strip of black cardstock and a strip of orange glitter cardstock to the left side of the card
