Yours,
this is the next part of my series over at the Karten-Kunst Blog. Part 7 is all about Creating a Simple Shape out of Die Cut Elements:
- add some color to a piece of watercolor paper using Distress Inks (Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry, Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters)
- use water droplets from your Mini Mister to remove some of the color for added texture
- cut out the Memory Box Sketch Daisy flower and leaves several times from this piece of watercolor paper
- cut out a circle using the My Favorite Things Stitched Circle STAX from a scrap piece of paper and arrange the elements into this basic shape
- use a piece of masking paper to keep the elements in place and use the same circle die to cut them out
- cut out a square from white cardstock using one of the My Favorite Things Stitched Square STAX
- adhere the flower and leaves circle to the square using foam dots
- glue the panel onto a white cardbase
- cut out the Karten-Kunst Große Texte Danke twice from black cardstock and layer both pieces on top of each other
- add it to the center of the card and cover the sentiment with Glossy Accents for extra shine and dimension
