I would like to show you this fun Alcohol Ink Technique for this month's Happy Little Stampers Mixed Media Challenge:
- fold some regular aluminium foil five times and cut the Poppy Stamps Blooming Poinsettia, the Poppy Stamps Small Blooming Poinsettia and the Paper Smooches Holly from the layered foil
- color the foil with Alcohol Inks (Pink Sherbet, Cool Peri, Clover, Pool) and arrange the elements with hot glue
- place a tiny little white pearl in the center of the flower
- dye a piece of seam binding with Distress Ink (Peacock Feathers) and tie it into a bow; adhere it with hot glue as well
Yours,
those poinsettas are beautiful. Another wonderful idea.

Wow these are stunning Tanja, and who would have thought of using tin foil for this???
ReplyDeleteOh - this is a good tip - to use aluminium foil! I have only made similar flowers by using diecuts from recycled cans...
ReplyDeleteFabulous make for the Happy Little Stampers!
