Be Free ATC

Hi there,

it is time for another Stencil Sunday and the start of a new Mixed Media Challenge over on the STAMPlorations Blog.

  • cut out an ATC from sturdy white cardstock with the help of one of the dies from the CUTplorations ATC/Tag Builder set
  • adhere vintage book paper to the front of the card and cover it with a thin layer of white gesso
  • color the page with a sprinkle of Paper Artsy Infusions (Violet Storm)
  • apply Texture Paste through the ARTplorations Old Rose Prints Mini stencil and let it dry thoroughly
  • color the beautiful roses with Paper Artsy Infusions (Lemoncello)
  • add black Stabilo All pencil around the edges and activate the color with a wet watercolor brush
  • add some texture with the dot pattern from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge set and Archival Ink (Black Soot)
  • draw in some dots with a white paint marker
  • stamp the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Trendy Birds 2 set with Archival Ink (Black Soot) onto a thick piece of kraft cardstock (I just glued two layers on top of each other) and grunge up the piece with black Stabilo All pencil and splatters of white gesso
  • use hot glue to adhere the sentiment strip on top of corrugated cardboard and a torn piece of sari silk ribbon

I hope you got inspired and don't forget to join us for our Mixed Media Challenge over at the STAMPlorations Blog. The theme is always anything mixed media except a card. You must use at least one stencil (any brand) in your project. The Linky closes at the end of the month.

Yours,
