Reindeer Shaker

Hi there,

I created this sweet little shaker card using stamps from the Gerda Steiner Designs Peeking Friends stamp set:

  • cut out a stitched panel from Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock using one of the My Favorite Things Wonky Stitched Rectangles
  • cut out a Christmas Tree from that panel with the help of one of the dies from the Sizzix Festive Fancies set
  • glue a piece of acetate behind the oping and surround it with a double layer of double-sided foam tape
  • fill the shaker element with clear and green seed beads and close it with a piece of patterned paper from the Crate Paper Snow & Cocoa 6x6 paper pad
  • cut out another wonky stitched panel from patterned paper from that same paper pad and adhere all the layers to a Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardbase
  • stamp the cute little reindeer from the Gerda Steiner Designs Peeking Friends set with Versafine Onyx Black
  • color the image with Faber-Castell Albrecht-Dürer pencils and add Stickles Glitter Glue Christmas Red to its nose
  • add highlights with a white gel pen
  • stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set onto a strip of patterned paper with Versafine Onyx Black and heat-emboss it with clear embossing powder for extra dimension
  • layer a thin strip of red glitter paper underneath the sentiment strip to match the nose of the reindeer

Here is an additional picture o the card:

Have a christmasy day.

Yours,
