we are starting a new Challenge over on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog and this time it's all about Krista Schneider's wonderful new Christmas and Winter stamp sets:
- cut out two Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangles - one from kraft cardstock and one from watercolor paper
- create a snowflake background on the kraft panel with the help of Versamark, WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder and stamps from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Snowflakes set
- add color to the watercolor panel with Distress Inks (Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire) and a Mini Ink Blending Tool
- use watered- down white acrylic paint to create snowflakes in the background
- cut out a hill shape from white Soft Finish Cardstock using one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Adventure Edges
- stamp the sentiment from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Cute Winter Sentiments set with Distress Oxide Ink Blueprint Sketch
- stamp the owl from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Winter Animals set with Versafine Clair Pinecone and cut it out with the coordinating die
- color the image with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a damp watercolor brush - add the stripes to the cap with a white gel pen
- adhere the owl to the card with double-sided foam adhesive
Which of the new Krista Schneider stamp sets would you use to create a Christmas card.
I can't wait to see your creations in the gallery.
