the story of today's card is a little odd. Normally, I have an overall concept before I start creating a card but this time it was different. I wanted to try out a packing tape transfer. I used some oriental paper for this technique, which just had a little bit too much gold for my taste. The transfer worked out fine. I wanted to take it a little step further and decided to use this piece in my cutting machine and the result was a beautiful sentiment. I then decided to create a card using this sentiment and here is the result:
- cut the StudioL2E beautiful sentiment from the packing tape transfer piece and adhere it to a white cardbase using Multi Medium Matte
- stamp flower from Marianne Design Eline's Oriental Lady EC0127 randomly with Versafine Onyx Black
- stamp Heindesign Tigerkatze right above the "u" using a stamp positioner
- color the images with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and Zest-it
- add a little white pearl above the "i", Glossy Accents to the center of the flowers and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the petals of the flowers

Really sweet card. The cat stasmp is adorable. I'd never heard of a packing tape transfer, but it sounds interesting.
