Hi there,
this is the next part of my series over at the Karten-Kunst Blog. Part 3 is all about a vellum cutout:
Part 1 - Black Silhouette against Alcohol Ink Background
Part 2 - Flower against Watercolor Background
this is the next part of my series over at the Karten-Kunst Blog. Part 3 is all about a vellum cutout:
- create a background on a stitched panel of watercolor paper with Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon) and the Mini Ink Blending Tool
- add Pearlized Water to remove some of the color and to create more texture
- cut out the Memory Box Sketch Daisy from the panel and keep the silhouette for another project
- adhere vellum behind the cutout flower
- stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Große Worte Frühlingserwachen set with Versafine (Deep Lagoon)
- add a strip of silver glitter paper and a strip of grey cardstock to the left side of the panel before adhering it to a white cardbase
- use foam tape and add some Pretty Pink Posh sequins (4mm Aquamarine) behind the cut out for more interest
