connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Cornelia from Stempel Spass and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our 17th transatlantic get-together!
Our requirement for this meet-up was:
"use wood and/or cork"
I would like to show you this wooden disk that I created for my little daughter's first day of school instead of a card.
- stamp one of the adorable little dragons and two clouds from the My Favorite Things Magical Dragons set with Versafine (Onyx Black) onto a wooden disk; add some grass with the same ink from the My Favorite Things Ewe are the best set
- color the image with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils
- add Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay to the little horns and wings for extra sparkle
- glue a piece of twine to the back side as a hanger
