I created this adorable birthday card in order to participate in the My Favorite Things Card Design Superstar Contest 2016:
- cut out one tag using one of the My Favorite Things Tag Builder Blueprints 4 dies from Neenah Desert Storm Kraft cardstock and one from patterned paper from the My Favorite Things Painted Prints Smitten 6x6 paper pad
- stamp one of the bunnies from the My Favorite Things Snuggle Bunnies set and some balloons from the My Favorite Things Adorable Elephants set with Versafine (Smokey Gray)
- create a background panel by cutting out a stitched rectangle using one of the My Favorite Things Blueprints 29 dies from Neenah Desert Storm Kraft cardstock
- stamp some cupcakes from the My Favorite Things Mon Cheri set and birthday cakes and presents from the My Favorite Things Birthday Bears set with Versafine (Smokey Gray) as well
- color all the images with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils and Zest-it
- add highlights with a white gel pen
- adhere both tags to the background panel using foam tape
- add a double thread of May Arts Natural Twine through the holes of the tags and tie them into a loose bow
- cut out the thinnest banner from the My Favorite Things Blueprints 27 die set and ink up its edges with Distress Ink (Frayed Burlap)
- stamp the sentiment from the My Favorite Things Birthday Bears set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder; adhere the sentiment with the help of foam tape
