Yours,
this is the last part of my series over at the Karten-Kunst Blog. Part 8 is all about creating a Mixed Media Collage Tag:
- cut out a tag from watercolor paper and use Dina Wakley Gel Medium to cover it with patterned paper strips from the Tim Holtz Wildflower paper pad
- add some additional pieces from the Tim Holtz Expedition Ephemera Pack
- add some white gesso to tone the background down
- cut out the Memory Box Sketch Daisy from paper from the same patterned paper pad and color all the elements with Distress Ink (Walnut Stain, Forest Moss, Picked Raspberry)
- adhere the flower to the tag and add some splatters of white gesso
- emboss the Karten-Kunst Große Texte Hallo at the top of the tag
- die a piece of seam binding with Distress Ink (Walnut Stain) and ink up the edges of the tag with that same ink color
