we are starting a new Stencil Challenge over on the STAMPlorations Blog and this is my creation:
- cut out a rectangular piece of watercolor paper and stamp the paint tubes from the STAMPlorations Art Expressions set with Versafine Clair Nocturne along the upper border
- stamp the sentiment from the same set with that same black ink
- color the paint tubes with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a damp watercolor brush
- add some splatters with watered-down black acrylic paint
- create your own patterned background paper by applying Distress Oxide Ink Black Soot through the ARTplorations Lattice stencil
- add a strip of black cardstock to the top and bottom of the watercolor panel before adhering it to the background
