Helenium Tag

Hi there,

today, we are starting a new Mixed Media Challenge over at the STAMPlorations Blog. I hope you will join us.

• cut a tag from Gloss Paper using the Sizzix Tag Collection
• stamp the STAMPlorations Helenium Large with Memento Luxe (Tuxedo Black) ... and this is where the magic happened ... this is how the impression turned out ... although I didn't expect this result I liked it a lot and decided to go from here

• use Alcohol Inks (Stonewashed, Sailboat Blue, Cloudy Blue, Lemonade, Sunshine Yellow, Clover, Mushroom, Lake Mist) and an Alcohol Ink Applicator to color the image and the background
• add details to the middle of the flower with a dark sepia PITT Artist Pen and a white gel pen
• stamp elements from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge set with Memento Luxe (Tuxedo Black, Gray Flannel, Wedding Dress)
• apply Memento Luxe (Gray Flannel) through the ARTplorations Leaf Prints stencil for more texture
• use the Tiny Attacher to add a piece of burlap ribbon to the top of the tag
• color a wood button with Alcohol Inks (Stonewashed, Sunshine Yellow) and glue it on top of the burlap ribbon
