Love Frames

Hi there,

we are starting a new Stamp & Share Challenge over at Skipping Stones Design today:

• create a background on a piece of watercolor paper with Distress Ink (Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, Black Soot) and Pearlized Water
• cut a strip from watercolor paper, stamp the Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain Stamp with Versamark and heat-emboss it with Distress Embossing Powder (Vintage Photo); color the strip with Distress Ink (Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, Black Soot)
• cut out two frames from watercolor paper using the My Favorite Things Inside & Out Stitched Rounded Square STAX
• color the frames with Distress Ink (Black Soot) and spritz them with Perfect Pearls Mist (Heirloom Gold)
• stamp the sentiment from Skipping Stones Design Heartsong with Versafine (Onyx Black) and create a watercolor background using Distress Inks (Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers)
• stamp the bird and the butterfly from the same stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black), cut them out and watercolor them with Distress Inks (Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Ripe Persimmon) and a waterbrush
• add a piece of twine around the woodgrain strip
