- create a background on a canvas using Dina Wakley Heavy Body Acrylic Paints (Sky, Turquoise) and a babywipe
- apply Distress Inks (Wilted Violet, Hickory Smoke, Peacock Feathers) through several Tim Holtz Layering Stencils (Argyle, Flourish, Schoolhouse)
- ink up the edges of the canvas with Distress Ink (Peacock Feathers)
- add the needed number of velcro strips to the canvas and print out little numbers with a label printer
- cut out butterflies from purple vellum and watercolor cardstock colored with Distress Inks (Cracked Pistachio, Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers) and Pearlized Water with the help of the Memory Box Cascadia Butterfly Trio and the Memory Box Leavenworth Butterfly Trio
