I created this maritime slimline card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:
- cut out a panel from watercolor paper
- apply Distress Ink (Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon) to a piece of acetate and mist it with water, press the acetate onto the watercolor paper until you like the resulting background
- cut out two round Karten Kunst Small Frames from smooth white cardstock and from turquoise cardstock
- stamp the ship and the lifesaver from the Karten-Kunst Mini Frames At the Sea with Lawn Lawn Jet Black and color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
- cut out the Karten-Kunst - Riesiges Ahoi from vellum and turquoise cardstock
- adhere the elements to the background panel
- add a strip of turquoise cardstock to the top and bottom of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase
