Yours,
this is the third part of my series for the Karten-Kunst Blog:
- cut out a tag from watercolor paper using the Paper Smooches Gift Tags 2 Dies and the Big Shot
- apply some Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Broken China) to a piece of acetate, add water with your Mini Mister and press the acetate onto the tag until you are satisfied with the result - you may of course dry in between layers to achieve that typical watercolor look - in my opinion this technqiue offers more control than the acrylic block technique that I showed you last time
- stamp the octopus from Lawn Fawn Critters in the Sea with Memento Tuxedo Black and color the image with Delta Markers
- add details with a white gel pen
- cut out a wave shape using Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud Borders from vellum
- stamp the sentiment from Karten-Kunst Inchie-Grüße 3 with Versamark and heat-emboss with white embossing powder
- add some burlap to the top of the tag using a stapler and add a DIY enamel dot on top of that
- adhere some sequins as final embellishments
